After a poor campaign, Lazio have identified a number of players to bolster their ranks and are closing in on a Barcelona defender.
According to Sky, Barcelona’s Adriano is extremely close to signing with Lazio. On Wednesday, the veteran fullback will be in Roma to undergo his medicals. Following the completion of his medical, he will put pen to paper on a deal.
Since signing with Barcelona, the Brazilian has played second fiddle to Jordi Alba but has performed when called upon. However, his lack of playing time has forced him to seek a move abroad. Lazio’s defense has struggled immensely in the past season and Adriano’s signing would go a long way in helping them shore up the back-line.
