The Atomic Ant Sebastian Giovinco continues to shine in north america after winning Major League Soccer’s MVP award.
According to Gazzeta Della Sport, After leading Toronto FC to there first playoff birth in franchise history, star striker Sebastian Giovinco was given the Landon Donovan MVP award by major league soccer for being the top player this season. The former Juventus player and Italian national had a fairy tale season with scoring twenty two goals and thirteen assists for the Canadian club. This record saw the atomic ant win the MLS golden boot award which goes to the seasons top scorer.
Sebastian Giovinco without a doubt has had a great season from an individual stand point, but what he has done for the city of Toronto and the soccer fans in the city is worth much more than the awards. He helped TFC fans fall in love with the game again along side his fellow stars Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore. They brought a winning culture to club that’s suffered for so long.
