After the scoreless draw between Brazil and Ecuador in the Copa America on Saturday, defender Dani Alves spoke to the press, emphasizing that a move to Italy is on the brink of completion.

“I’ve decided to leave Barcelona for a new adventure. They are a fantastic club but you have to be motivated to have success. Juventus? I haven’t signed a contract yet but I am about to do so. At the moment, the only thing that is 100% certain is the fact that I am leaving Barcelona.”
The 33-year old Brazilian made 48 total appearances for the Blaugrana last season, collecting eight assists and was once again, vital to Barcelona’s double collection.
