Mexico international Hector Herrera took another step towards becoming a Napoli player today.
According to sources, Hector Herrera agreed to personal terms with Napoli and all that is missing now is the final agreement with FC Porto. Napoli had been meeting with Herrera’s agent and came to an agreement today.
The 26 year old central midfielder from Tijuana has a plethora of international experience as he’s racked up 39 caps for the Mexican national team. He’s also a Gold Cup champion and a 2012 Olympic Gold medalist.
Herrera signed with Porto from Pachuca in 2013 for around €11 million. FC Porto reportedly want a figure close to €20, as the Portuguese are known to make money on every sale or investment they make.
This past season, Herrera made 38 appearances and scored 9 goals in all competitions for his club.
