Things are changing in Milan, as the black and blue side of the city are preparing to be bought by the Chinese.
Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir purchased the Nerazzurri a few years ago, leaving ex-President Massimo Moratti with a 30% minority stake in the club. Today, outside the club’s headquarters Moratti spoke to reporters.
“Are we signing the documents? We very well may be. For now I feel like the intention is to close [the deal],” he said.”
ANSA reported that Erick Thohir and other key directors will head to Nanjing, where Suning is based, for the final handshake and signing. The Suning Commerce Group will acquire the majority share of the club, but Thohir is expected to remain in charge as President of Inter.
