Milan Continue to Press for Palermo’s Franco Vázquez

The Rossoneri are continuing to press for Palermo’s playmaker Franco Vázquez, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The player has reportedly rejected several offers from China, which involved very high wages. The competition Milan face is from the Premier League as interest has been drawn from West Bromwich, Tottenham Hotspur and Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

Vázquez, although omitted from the Italian National Team enjoyed another great season. He registered eight goals and added seven assists on a Palermo team that almost faced relegation. The Italian also contributed to Paulo Dybala’s breakout season a few seasons back providing 10 assists and 10 goals.

His value has skyrocketed over the past two seasons, and we could see the Rossoneri spend north of 20 million euros on the player. The young Italian would be the ideal player for the Red Devil’s “number 10” role which has been missing since the Clarence Seedorf days.

Adriano Galliani and co. intend to get his signature and bring the trequartista to the San Siro next season.
