Napoli continue their search for a new midfielder, to bolster their corps featuring Allan, Jorginho and others.
According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com the Partenopei’s sporting director Giuntoli has met Jorge Mendes, the Monaco midfielder’s agent. The only question that remains is how Napoli will clear up a non-EU spot for the Brazilian, with Hector Herrera set to take the other spot. Many look to Juan Zuniga as a possible departure due to his lack of employ in the recent season.
With Fabinho, Napoli would be gaining a versatile midfielder, capable of playing both on the flanks, and in the middle. Nonetheless, Sarri will be pleased if the Brazilian fullback arrives in Naples this summer.
The 22-year old fullback arrived in Monaco a few seasons ago and has grown into the starter for the Principality side.
