Roma continue their efforts reinforce the roster ahead of their next campaign.
With Lucas Digne’s departure back to Paris following his loan-spell, Roma are on the hunt for a new left back. Many names have been linked to the Giallorossi, including Mario Rui of Empoli and Widmer of Udinese.
Manchester City’s Pablo Zabaleta is the newest name to be reported as being close to Roma. According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Roma are interested in the Argentine for next season. However, the Manchester club seems largely unwilling to part with their star defender, which complicates things for Walter Sabatini.
The Roma sporting director will continue to pursue the Argentine, but also others, to ensure that Roma have an adequate defense to push for the Scudetto next season.
One way or another, Sabatini has a busy summer ahead as the Roma faithful expect results in the upcoming season.
