Caught up by Premium Sport after the win against Fiorentina, Marek Hamsik analyzed his game today. “It was difficult, but we’ve sent a message to the league. Congratulations though to Fiorentina, they played well.”
Is it possible to think about the Scudetto? “I don’t know. I’m happy to have recalled the fans to the stadium. Today there was a great atmosphere, we have to thank them for this.”
Has Sarri motivated you? “I’m a player that always wants to do well, I’m finding it very well as a wing midfielder. I’ve done well with it in the past and I’m happy to have returned to this position. You have to sacrifice, but that’s fine with me.”
Is talking about the Scudetto a ‘curse’? “We just want to keep going like this, we’re doing well.”
What has changed after the first few games of the league? “The changes have benefited us. With the 4-3-1-2, you spend a ton of energy. But there’s more protection, we can be more aggressive on the pitch.”
Have you spoken with Sarri about your position? “In the training camp we worked on two formations, pointing primarily on the 4-3-1-2. Then we changed it against Club Brugges, it went well and we’re going forward as such.”
