Fiorentina’s Milan Badelj spoke after getting eliminated from the Coppa Italia round of 16 in a 1-0 loss to Capri.
“We had so many chances but did not deserve the victory. I don’t believe we are tired, we saw from the start we had the right approach to the game. In certain situations we were unlucky and didn’t capitalize on our chances. We didn’t display our usual level of play.”
Badelj was then asked about the upcoming break:
“I don’t want to use (the break) as an excuse. For us there is no problem playing every seven days. None of us will sleep well, Sousa was upset with all of us. We must give all we got to beat Chievo next game, we will give it our full attention.”
