Lazio star Lucas Biglia reduced to tears following the team’s 5th loss in the last 6 games.
The frustration is building week after week for Lazio, as they were once again unable to secure a victory in the Serie A. With former World Cup-winning manager Marcello Lippi in the stands adding even more fuel to the fire that current manager Stefano Pioli is likely on his way out sooner rather than later.
The aforementioned Pioli was interviewed by Premium Sport where he provided his thoughts on the match.
“Starting off well is not enough to win a game. We allowed a goal the first chance in which Juve crossed our half, but then we were too generous and predictable. The fact that is that it is inevitable that we are losing confidence. As it is true that victories pick you up, the negative results bring you down.”
When asked what’s next Pioli responded:
“Now we must have humility to start again and understand that we can do much more that what we are doing at this time.”
