Times are tough for Rudi Garcia and his beleaguered men, after today’s loss at home to Spezia, the clock is ticking on his tenure with the Giallorossi.
Most players declined to speak to the media after falling on penalties at home to Serie B side Spezia in the Coppa Italia, but Rudi Garcia told reporters he was “fighting to the death” at Roma and wouldn’t resign.
At the moment there are no plans to immediately replace Garcia for the moment, however the game on Sunday against Genoa in Rome will decide his future. It’s either he’s in or he’s out.
Roma have been an underperforming side all season long despite advancing to the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League. Even there they were marred with disappointment and disgrace.
Fans have long been calling for the ousting of the French coach, but the Roma brass have refused to budge on their desire to maintain stability at the managerial level.
