The English outfit are preparing a bid to bring the former Newcastle defender back to England.
Cagliari and Crystal Palace are on the tracks of the want-away Inter wingback. According to GazzaMercato, Crystal Palace have long been admirers of the Italy international but the problem has been his wage.
At the moment, the Sardinian side are the more attractive option to Santon, due to the fact he would remain in Italy and in Serie A.
The Rossoblu’s sporting director is set to meet with Inter this week to attempt to materialize the deal. Crystal Palace remain an option but will need to make a decision on his wage.
For Cagliari, it’s a summer of reinforcement in their return to the top flight. Stefano Sabelli is also another option, but more inexperienced for the Sardinians.
