Juventus to have a ‘mercato for the ages’ as Pjanic and Kovacic are possible

During Sky Sport’s series opener, ‘Calciomercato – L’originale’ some news was broke on Juve’s market plans.

Giuseppe Marotta, the Juventus DS is preparing to give Juventus a boost in quality that has been seldom seen before. Year 5 into the massive overhaul, the front office has the funds and the prestige to now make the Old Lady one of Europe’s elite.
In particular, there’s the new found hope in signing both Miralem Pjanic from Roma, and Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid.
The Croatian, said that he would not return to Inter as long as Roberto Mancini is at the helm. Meanwhile, the price has been set for Miralem Pjanic as it would take €38 million to activate his release clause.
According to Sky, the arrival of Pjanic would not exclude the arrival of Kovacic. It’s obvious what Juventus are trying to do, give Allegri the tools to win the UEFA Champions League for club legend Gianluigi Buffon, who will retire in 2018.
Juventus have already signed Dani Alves and will officialize that agreement most likely tomorrow, while Domenico Berardi is expected to be announced later this week for €25 million + 3 players.
