The Giallorossi are working behind the scenes to hold on to the Polish ‘keeper as their Number One for the long-term.
According to Sky Sport, Roma are planning to contact Arsenal tomorrow to discuss a possible permanency in the Eternal City for Polish goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny. The current number one has been holding down the goalposts for the last year on loan and Roma want to know what Arsenal’s plans are regarding the shot-stopper.
Szczesny has a contract with the Gunners ending June 2018 but could be willing to move their former first choice as Petr Cech continues to solidify his spot in their Starting XI. The 26-year old collected 8 clean sheets over 34 appearances with Roma this past season.
