Fiorentina are looking to fortify their squad in January after getting off to their best start since the 1998-99 season.
Dennis Praet, the Belgian starlet is pushing to leave Anderlecht. The midfielder born in 1994 has a contract that runs until June 2017, but has given clear signals according to tuttomercatoweb that he would like to leave in this upcoming January.
During the last summer transfer window, Anderlecht refused an offer from Spanish side Sevilla for €6 million. Now, however, the situation has changed an a fee of that size may be enough to acquire Praet, who also likes the Fiorentina interest.
Praet has played in 10 competitive matches this season, scoring two goals in the Jupiler Pro League.
He also made his full senior debut with Belgium in a friendly win over Iceland in November 2014.
