Napoli Midfielder and captain Marek Hamsik spoke to Sky Italia following the 0-0 draw against Roma on Sunday. This is what the Slovakian had to say.
Marek was asked about the performance as a whole:
“Overall, we should be satisfied with our performance, but we are not happy with the final result because we had been controlling the game. We created many goal chances, I missed a goal too and obviously this upsets us.”
“We were better than a team that was built to win the Serie A title and this says a lot on our match. We must continue like this, both as for our game and for our mentality. We do not have to look at the standings, but we must go on like this.”
