Former AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta spoke to TMW on the Rossoneri’s current struggles in the back
“Milan has changed coaches and spent a lot of money on the transfer market. They have new players and they have young players, especially in defense.
“Just look at Ely and Romagnoli, Mihajlovic needs to have patience and work with them, but I know that’s tough to do.
“However Sunday [the 4-0 loss to Napoli] is another thing, they need a few years before getting back up to the highest levels. They need a Thiago Silva in defense, they’ve acquired big players in front of them.
“In the midfield there’s a mix of experience and youth but behind them, they need a big name.”
